A programming overhaul of the White House's Web site has set the tech world abuzz. For low-techies, it's a snooze — you won't notice a thing.
The online-savvy administration on Saturday switched to open-source code meaning the programming language is written in public view, available for public use and able for people to edit.
"We now have a technology platform to get more and more voices on the site," White House new media director Macon Phillips told

But the Department of Energy had to send out letters last week discouraging all but a handful of the 3,500 research teams and individuals seeking some of the $150 million available this year for pursuit of “transformational” energy technologies.

If our leaders were concerned about our clean electricity and and water based energies for our families they would be offering annual Cash Rewards, Prizes, and Incentives for new clean energy technology ideas to our citizens; And they would require any corporation or entity who has bought, captured, siezed or is holding new technology from the market so as to keep from our homes and family public uses a full public disclosure or prison sentences for hiding the information.
WHY WOULD WE BUILD A ROAD, SCHOOL, CASINO, OR BRIDGE BEFORE WE WOULD BUILD A HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT TO HAVE CLEAN ELECTRICITY for our homes FOR 50 YEARS AT NEARLY NO COST?
There are those among us who are lost, Dark Sided, Hell Bent, Cash Whipped, Bound To, and/or Determined, to deny us our residential clean hydroelectric electricity investment, development and ownership rights;
